“C4” IS ORANGE-BOUND: TOP QUARTERBACK CHARLIE FOULKE IV COMMITS TO SYRACUSE
GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY — A major recruiting win for Syracuse University as one of the Northeast’s top quarterback prospects has made it official.
Charlie Foulke the Fourth — better known as “C4” — has announced his commitment to play Division One football for the Orange. The explosive 2027 quarterback, now playing at Glassboro High School after transferring from St. Joseph’s Prep, is widely regarded as one of the most precise passers in the region.
“After a lot of thought and prayer, I’m blessed to announce that I am one hundred percent committed to playing Division One football at Syracuse University. Grateful for this opportunity and ready to work.”
The six-foot-two, one-hundred-ninety-five-pound signal caller brings an impressive résumé — including over twenty-four hundred passing yards and thirty-four touchdowns during his sophomore season, along with earning the prestigious Michael Payton Memorial Quarterback Award.
He chose Syracuse over several powerhouse programs, including Georgia, Miami, Maryland, and Pittsburgh.
Now playing for Glassboro under Head Coach Tim Breaker, Foulke is expected to be a cornerstone of Syracuse’s 2027 recruiting class as the program continues building what they’re calling a “new era” in the ACC.

Charlie Foulke has solidified his reputation as one of the premier signal-callers in the nation, leading the St. Joseph’s Prep Hawks with a rare combination of “ice-cool” composure and explosive playmaking. A state champion with over 2,400 yards and 34 touchdowns as a sophomore, Foulke’s selection recognizes him as the standard-bearer for Pennsylvania quarterbacks.

About the Award
The Michael Payton Memorial Quarterback Award is presented annually to the most outstanding high school quarterback in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It honors the legacy of Harrisburg native Michael Payton, a College Football Hall of Fame inductee and Walter Payton Award winner who led Marshall University to the 1992 NCAA Division I-AA National Championship.
Recipients are chosen based on:
- Statistical dominance in the state’s most competitive divisions.
- Proven leadership qualities on and off the field.
- The ability to elevate their teammates in high-pressure moments.
